I'm A southerner Turned midwesterner
I’m a New Orleans native who has spent the second half of my life turning into a bona fide Midwesterner. I’ve traded hurricanes for blizzards and king cake for… well... nothing, (there is nothing more delicious than a slice of fresh king cake.) Despite my learned ability to deal with frosty temps for way too much of the year I will always be a southerner at heart. I say you guys but I really mean y’all.
I'm a MAMA and wife
I’m a mom of three kids and a dog, and wife to a man I met many moons ago while we were both in art school. We live in a charming but storage-lacking 85 year old home just outside of Chicago. Life at home is often chaotic and full of energy. Kids and puppies have endless supplies of these traits, it turns out. Most days I have the feeling that I'm for sure in the thick of it, but I wouldn't want it any other way.
i'm A Maker
I love getting my hands dirty, whether it's with screenprinting or letterpress ink (see my side venture, here!) or through a new raspberry blondie recipe (turns out it was almost as delicious as king cake). I've always loved creating things, and have many fond memories of covering my childhood home in paper-constructed 'masterpieces' (sorry mom and dad!)

My goal as the designer in any endeavor is to show up authentically, connect effectively and solve problems creatively.
I love thoughtfully weaving a story together with just the right words and just the right visuals to create an emotive, impactful and brand-centered piece. ​

where I've been, where I'm going...
Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of working with some great clients–Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, hospitals and universities–and for some great design and marketing agencies. As my experience has deepened, I’ve tuned my focus to companies and brands whose values align with mine, whose work I believe in.

I’m a brand designer which means I can craft a brand and a set of guidelines from scratch, or I can take an existing brand and guidelines and apply them to the creation of new pieces. I love the challenge of designing within parameters. But really, isn't this life? Figuring out how to work artfully within the parameters you've been given to create the most beautiful and precious thing?
